T-N-T Moving Systems Offers Area Guides for Newcomers

Recently, Charlotte became the second fastest growing city in the nation. T-N-T Moving Systems has developed Area Guides to help those interested in moving to Charlotte and find information about popular neighborhoods.

Moving to a new city can be exciting, but also challenging. Before moving to a new city, newcomers may want to research a little bit about the different areas of town. “We wanted to give people moving to Charlotte an insider’s look at the most popular neighborhoods,” says Todd Koepke, co-owner of T-N-T.

The Charlotte Observer analyzed information from the U.S. Census to determine the top five fastest growing cities in America. Charlotte was ranked second and the only city in the top five not in Texas. The other cities were Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso. Charlotte has grown 40 percent since the 2000 census.

“Many factors make Charlotte an ideal city to live in,” says Tom Tulowiecki, “Charlotte is a big draw for banking of course, but is also becoming popular for entertainment, food, craft beer, and shopping.”

T-N-T offers area guides for these neighborhoods in Charlotte: Plaza Midwood, Uptown, Noda, Ballantyne, South Park, and the University area. “We choose these neighborhoods based on our knowledge of the area, but hope to add other areas of Charlotte and the surrounding suburbs,” explains Tulowiecki. These guides give advice on where to eat, where to shop, and where to go for entertainment. “We highlighted places that we have personally been to and liked,” says Koepke, “This way our clients have a personal take on the neighborhood before they move there.”

As the official movers of the Carolina Panthers, T-N-T Moving Systems is uniquely connected to the Charlotte area. “We moved down here from upstate New York, so we know what it’s like to discover a new city. And after being here for over 20 years, I think we know Charlotte well,” says Koepke.

T-N-T Moving Systems offers ala carte services including packing, loading, unloading, storage, and transportation. They are fully licensed, bonded, and insured for residential and commercial moves.
