Where to Donate This Christmas
The holidays are a great time of giving and receiving. And we all know that some people get a lot more than others. So when you are out shopping for the latest gadgets and toys, consider giving away things you or your kids may not need anymore. It’s a great way to teach kids about sharing and decluttering. And that way they can make room for all the new stuff Santa is going to bring.
Here is a list of places to donate in Charlotte for the Holidays:
National Kidney Services- You can donate gently used toys, stuffed animals, board game, and other things to the National Kidney Services. They can also arrange to pick up your donation.
Urban Ministry- You can donate all types of things to the Urban Ministry of Charlotte, but they are requesting sleeping bags, tents, and personal care items. Check out their website for more information.
Salvation Army- They will accept donated toys or you can sponsor a child through their Angel Tree program.
Dilworth Soup Kitchen- They do not accept toy donations, but would love some donate time. Feeding the less fortunate can be a great way to spend the holidays.
Hemby Children’s Hospital- This hospital in Charlotte works hard to help families cope through a difficult time. They have a wishlist for holidays on their website.
At TNT Moving Services, we love our Charlotte community and hope this list helps you to donate this holiday season. Giving and receiving are just a part of what makes this time of year so special. We hope you will consider donating your time, money, or unwanted items to these deserving charities.
Spending time with loved ones is truly what makes this holiday season special. We hope you get the chance to brighten someone’s day and have a Merry Christmas!
