Moving is Stressful

Moving:  One of Life’s Most Stressful Moments

Moving is frequently cited as one of the most stressful life events, after the death of a loved one, divorce or illness. According to a report from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

(Facts for Families: Children and Family Moves, 1999), moving to a new community is “one of the most stress-producing events a family faces.” While the reasons for moving can be positive – such as the purchase of a house or a job promotion – settling into a new home, connecting to a new environment and recreating a home are almost always chaotic and stressful.

At T-N-T we recognize this and work very hard to minimize the effects of stress caused by moving your home.  Our employees enjoy their work and it shows through with their delightful attitude that tends to be contagious to the homeowner.  As co-owner of  T-N-T Movers, I am involved not just with the estimates and booking the move but sometimes I am out in the field with my guys to see first hand how they perform.

What I see is the homeowner connecting with the movers in a way that makes them forget just how stressful the day can be.  This quality is what separates our moving company from the competition.
