Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont

Goodwill takes all sorts of household items from furniture to clothing to electronics. There are 7 staffed drop-off locations and provides pick up service to homes donating at least 6 large furniture items. Salvation Army

National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina

The National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina will pick up household and clothing items from your home to resale at the Carolina Value Village. All proceeds from the retail store benefit the National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina. To schedule a pickup, call them at 704-393-5780.

Crisis Assistance Ministry

Crisis Assistance Ministry in Charlotte operates a free store that provides a range of household items to families in need. They accept clothing donations as well as blankets, kitchenware, and personal care items. Furniture and working appliances are also accepted. Charlotte Rescue Mission

The Charlotte Rescue Mission provides residential programs for homeless, jobless men and women with alcohol and drug addiction issues.
